Biography

Consultant Psychiatrist Specialized in General adult psychiatry, Mood disorders (including treatment-resistant cases), and Women’s mental health during pregnancy, postpartum, and the menopausal period. Expertise in neuromodulation therapies, including repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS). Proficient in interventional psychiatry, offering advanced evidence-based treatments such as esketamine therapy and low-dose IV ketamine for mood disorders. • Fellowship in mood disorders from Queen’s University, Canada. • Mini fellowship in behavioral sleep medicine from the University of Pennsylvania, USA. • Certified in rTMS from the Temerty Centre for Therapeutic Brain Intervention, University of Toronto. • Lead of the Mental Health Awareness Task Force at the Mental Health Council. • Actively involved in research, and community initiatives aimed at promoting mental health awareness and destigmatization. • Proficient in English and Arabic.
