About Me

Doaa Barakat graduated with excellent grades with honors from Ain Shams University, Egypt. She received Arab board Certification in 2006 and PH.D from Egypt in 2009. She is an assistant professor since 2017 in Okasha institute of psychiatry, with subspecialty in child and adolescent psychiatry. She completed a one-year equivalent clinical fellowship in sleep medicine at sleep and Fatigue Institute, Canada, 2012-2015. She is now a consultant psychiatrist in Al Ain Hospital and Sheikh Tahnoon Medical City, UAE since December 2018. She is the manager of Sakina for Children Center, Al Ain. She has thirteen publications with ongoing research projects.
